I painted this last year when we were stuck in India during the lockdown. It was the start of the pandemic and everything was total chaos. Amidst all the commotion, I decided to paint this dedicated corner of the room, a sacred space I had created since the pandemic began, where I sought refuge, where I could rest, catch a breath or regain strength.
